Cartier, so rare to find!. The first one is set in nephrite and onix featuring small flowers set in cabochon turquoises and the second one is set in onix with rose cut diamonds and turquoise and ruby beads. Both pieces are mounted in yellow gold and platinum. They are dated in 1910 and described by Christie's as Art Deco, I would have said they are transition pieces as the flower motifs remind me of the Belle Epoque style. In any case they belong to the time when objects of vertu where common presents made of the most exquisite materials. These frames are true collectors finds and the second one even has my initials! ;-)
They will be auctioned by Christie's NY on April 17th.
